Omatic Snowboards hearts the Tony Hawk Foundation!

A couple of weeks ago the Omatic crew was at it again in Vegas, this time to support the “Stand up For Skateparks” 2nd stop.

We like to do our part when we can and thanks to the fine folks at the Tony Hawk Foundation we had the opportunity to contribute and spend the day making t-shirts  to support Tony’s foundation that builds skateparks in low income areas.
Shred star Shaun White skated and man does he rip!  We were able to pull in “The Ponch” for some free labor, shoot hoops with Bill Walton, and make lots of people happy.
This year the event raised $675,000 for the Foundation, including $73,000 to build a skatepark in the challenged Hyde Park neighborhood in Las Vegas.  We are happy that our custom snowboard benches and co-lab Tony Hawk boards were able to bring in some worthy bids to contribute to that amount.
We had a great time busting out screens of our latest 2010 board graphics while watching some of the best skaters in the world while rocking out the entire time.

Special thanks to our friend Mike and also the great people at the Hawk Foundation who made it all happen.
